I love horror that never seems particularly interested in explaining itself.

The moment where she's both a woman and something else landed for me because my brain immediately started trying to make sense of it... and then gave up. That's usually when horror gets under my skin. Not when I understand the monster, but when I realize I probably never will.

The uncertainty of what had actually happened before Josiah arrived, what happened to the ... woman? ... when she came towards him, and what is happening to Josiah now that he's regained awareness make this a creepy & unsettling tale.
